3 Days: Altyn Emel & Kolsai Lakes
Day 1. Almaty – Altyn Emel National Park – Basshi Village
- Morning departure from Almaty (hotel pick-up).
- Drive to Altyn Emel National Park (approx. 4–5 hours).
- Lunch in Basshi
- Visit the famous Aktau and Katutau Mountains
- Transfer to Basshi Village.
- Check-in at a local guesthouse.
- Dinner and overnight in Basshi.
Day 2. Altyn Emel – Charyn Canyon – Saty Village
- Breakfast at the guesthouse.
- Morning visit to Singing Dunes
- Drive to Charyn Canyon.
- Walk through the spectacular Valley of Castles, hike down to the river.
- Free time for photos and exploration. Lunch at the river
- Afternoon transfer to Saty Village.
- Check-in at a guesthouse.
- Traditional dinner.
- Overnight in Saty.
Day 3. Kolsai Lake – Return to Almaty
- Breakfast at the guesthouse.
- Transfer to Kolsai Lake (First Lake).
- Free time and activities:
– Hiking along the scenic mountain trail
– Easy walking around the lake
– Horse riding (optional)
– Boat rental (optional)
- Lunch at a local café or picnic.
- Afternoon departure to Almaty.
- Dinner at Uighur café on thew way
- Evening arrival and hotel drop-off.
