Yukhin Peak
Day 1. Arrival in Osh city.
Departure to the Base Camp. You will be met by our representative at the airport. You can have breakfast before departure to the BC in the local café. We start to the BC at 9-10 a.m. You will drive one of the most beautiful roads in the world – Pamir Highway. It will take you around 4-5 hours (about 300 km). The highway provides breathtaking views of the mountains. In the BC at 3,600 meters you will be met by delicious lunch. Accommodate comfortably in the spacious tents. If you have time hike to the lakes. Have an ample dinner. Accommodation in tents.
DAY 2. Acclimatization.
No need to wake up early this day. We will dedicate time to acclimatization and active moving. After breakfast we go to the Petrovskiy Col. From that site you will observe the panorama of the whole valley and many lakes. You’ll get to the BC right before lunch. If there is power you can hike to the waterfall near the Onion Meadow. Our cook will serve the ample dinner in the evening. Probably we will sing with a guitar.
DAY 3. Base Camp – Camp 1 (4,400 m).
Start right after breakfast. If you don’t want to carry your backpack yourself, load it on a horse. The price is USD 3 per 1 kg. Take a small backpack with warm clothes, snacks and drink with you. You will cross over the Puteshestvenniki (travelers) Pass and see the Lenin Glacier and multi-colored mountains. Further the path goes along the long scree ridge. The trekking will take about 4-8 hours, 12 km, depending on your physical condition. You will be met by our hospitable team in the C1. Accommodate and relax.
DAY 4. Peak Yukhin (5,130 m). Way to the top.
Today we take off to Peak Yukhin. You don’t need the special gear, as there are no technical parts, but only good trekking boots and poles. Dinner and relaxation in the C1 in the evening. Overnight in tents.
DAY 5. Camp 1 – Base Camp.
Last breakfast, farewell to the team and glaciers. The back way is picturesque and beautiful, though not easy due to the distance. The last glance at the Lenin Glacier and multi-colored mountains. After the Onion Meadow you’ll find yourself in the BC. Take the shower and relax fully. Farewell dinner and packing to the road. Overnight in tents.
DAY 6. Transfer to Osh.
After breakfast we say good-bye to the team, new friends and big mountains. We are packing the stuff and go to Osh. If time permits you can walk in the city, visit the main attractions: Suleiman-Too, famous Osh Bazaar and buy souvenirs. Dinner in the city and overnight in the hotel are not includes into price.
DAY 7. Transfer to the airport.
Our representative will arrange a vehicle to the airport. Check the flight time beforehand and inform our manager.
